How do I say “you can tell ” in Swedish?
Not like “berätta”, not a normal tell, I mean tell like “it’s possible to notice” like in these sentences:

You can’t tell you were crying, relax.

Wow, you can’t tell the difference between you and your sister!

You can definitely tell she’s going to be a great mother.

You don’t All the idioms cannot be translated like that into another language. You could say

“Ingen märker att du har gråtit, slappna av”
“man kan inte se skillnad på dig och din syster”
“Man kan verkligen se att hon kommer att bli en fin mamma”

Perhaps use the “se” (see) or “märka” (notice) in stead?
