Question by Bebe: Has anyone heard of this study?
where they showed people images, some were random shapes, others were silhouette human figures or faces. They found that theists were more likely to “notice” images of people in the random shapes while atheists were more likely to say human figures were random shapes.

Does anyone know where I can find this study?
I remember reading it in a book. a recent book, since 2000.. that’s all I remember. I’d guess the book was about beliefs, maybe religious beliefs.
Teapotistic — I did read “Why People Believe Strange Things”.. Do you think it’s in there?
