Anybody notice “conservatives” use CAPS more often than others to support their arguments?
Question by 8: Anybody notice “conservatives” use CAPS more often than others to support their arguments?
These words are in capital letters so it must be true (sarcasm). It’s funny when people have to resort to capitalizing because they can’t adequately support their arguments. It’s even funnier when they do this and they’re obviously wrong on the facts or they don’t really answer a question. Example: That’s because the capital of New York is NEW YORK CITY!
I’m sure you’ve all seen this. I’m sure “liberals” do this too but I think far less often than “conservatives”.
Why do they do this? (to make it a question)

LikeDislikeAhh yes! Capital letters! Great! The first three letters, i.e. CON, are just what the “CONservatives” are all about! A CON of monumental proportions especially with the public schoolboy snobtwit they currently have in charge!

LikeDislikeUsing CAPS is to writing what shouting is to speaking. It adds artificial emphasis that has nothing to do with the quality of an argument. I haven’t noticed that people of one political persuasion use it more than another. It’s not political, it’s just lazy.

LikeDislikeWhen describing the Party, its only necessary to use a capital ‘C’ not the whole word, in order to distinguish it from being someone having conservative or moderate views.

LikeDislikeWell, you know that people don’t have the ability to shout here…They have to find some way to make a difference.
However, I believe that capital letters are also used to emphasize the meaning of something said and not necessarily add more force to it- it really depends on the person.
