Your soul thirsts for a bit of spirituality because that is its natural substance. But there aren’t many who can supply it. Technology and progress, which seemingly enlighten you, pull you more and more towards the materialistic but what your soul wants is something spiritual. Your soul seeks the One who created it and yearns for a connection with its creator. It’s already quite sated by all the fanciful and illusory materialism. Therefore, many people today ask themselves or the clerics, “Where is God? How can we communicate with Him? Why did I come into this world? What is my role in the universe? What am I supposed to do? And where can I find the answers to these questions?” On our next post we will G-D willing give some more direction on this.

Your Thirsty Soul!
The Spider’s Web
Did you ever think about how the spider weaves its web, that it’s not only the thinnest but also the strongest of its kind in the whole world? This material is stronger than even the newest materials and not just the well-known steel cables. We have yet to succeed in making something even close to it in strength.
But, since we are intelligent human beings, we understand well enough that there is such excellent material in existence and if we only could, we would make something from it for the good of humanity. For example, a long time ago, before bandages and such were available, people used wads of spider webs to stop bleeding. Modern medicine has had only partial success in this area. But the great Maker, the greatest of the healers has long ago brought it into this world!
Who made that?
Every product has a manufacturer, a designer. Someone who decided to bring it into the world. So, it must be then that some-ONE planned and made all that exists in the world and in the universe. Some-ONE who provided all the raw materials we use to make all those man made things. G-D made us, we make things, that’s the way it is.
The Sun Stays in its place
Did you know that the sun is 150,000,000 Kilometers (150 Million!!!) from earth. How is it possible that that distance NEVER changes. If it ever did G-D forbid change we would either freeze or burn! Another sign that G-D is taking care of us each moment of the day. Is it not worth taking a moment to to think about that? Its just AWESOME!
Everything Expands in Heat, and Shrinks in Cold, EXCEPT WATER!
As we know, all substances, whether solid or liquid, expand in heat and shrink in cold, except for water.
Is this by circumstance or did someone plan it that way? The fact that at 4 degrees centigrade water begins to expand and thus become lighter allows frozen water to float above the warmer water below. If it were not so, all life below the surface, from fish to vegetation would freeze to death.
Think about the fact that all deep rivers and lakes that freeze over in winter do so only at the top. Below the surface, life goes on!
Even more importantly, Its worth thinking about “The Planner” of this great system.
The world goes ’round and ’round
Did you ever notice that the earth is suspended in mid air? The same goes for other orbiting planets as well. What about all the stars and for that matter, all galactic objects? Aside from meteors, they all stay keep their path or stay in the same place. For thousands of years!
Can a car without a driver keep its course? Even if you were to lock the steering wheel, the path would change. AND if you were to lock the wheel, SOMEONE has to do that! It is exactly so with the solar system, someone is driving! Someone is making sure that all bodies in space keep moving, stay on course, and do not crash! It is clear that there is only ONE who is capable of doing all this. It is the creator of the world. Or perhaps you have another idea….
Nothing happens on its own. And nothing moves on its own. To every effect there is a cause.
This video gives some perspective (0:33):
Who or what is God?
One thing is common among all humankind without regard to your religion or belief, whether you’re a Christian, Jew, Moslem, Buddhist, or atheist. I’m referring to the fact that we are all breathing and living. This is what separates us from a person who has just died. This thing that gives us life can’t be defined. It can’t be felt or seen. It’s something that’s missing from the corpse before us. It has all the same limbs and organs that we have. So what can it be? Have you ever thought about that?
Where does this “thing” come from? Who gave us this “thing”? How does this “thing” that gives us life, come to us? Most people will tell you that it comes from God. That would be the right answer – the atheist, who does not have a God, will have an answer that the question is meaningless. He’ll say, “From Nature,” or “From evolution.” But what is Nature? What is evolution?
So you must now ask, “Who or what is God?”
G-D’s all Encompassing presence
This great video really shows G-D’s presence in all the world and all the universe. Enjoy (5:16):
500 volts in a fish!
There’s a fish, the Electric Eel that, when it wants to protect itself, generates electrical energy that’s been measured at 500 volts. That’s about what 330 AA batteries produce. It can disable any other sea creature when it strikes it with its tail. It only needs a few seconds of charging up it up beforehand.
Time on my hands…
A thought for today… Many people have a great deal of leisure time. Many governments decided that in order for more people to earn a living many people would work fewer hours so that more people would have work. A result of this situation is the availability of many hours of free time. The international media attempts to fill these free hours with useless entertainment or proffering us things that we really don’t need.
Advertising focuses on enticing the masses by selling them fantasies, most cynically abusing your money and your time. In short, it blinds you, trying to prevent you from devoting yourself to helpful and spiritual activities. Yes, the media is part of big industry and is highly successful. So, here we are, trapped…
